Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure OST

Before developing the acclaimed Disgaea series of tactical RPGs, Nippon Ichi produced a series of games known as Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom, the first localized as Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, being a "musical" RPG with musical numbers in place of FMVs, and when Atlus localized it, they translated the songs as well with English vocals, which are the first tracks on the CD included with the game when it was released. They're generally enjoyable, if a little saccharine, and the tracks afterward (the composer being N1's regular Tenpei Sato) are non-vocal tracks, among the strongest being the sad theme "Shooting Star," which has a Celtic feel. Recommended, if you can look past the sugary nature of the vocal tracks.
